We have chosen to split the money that we get to charity’s. And those are : Fondation Charcot Stichting and Team Rynkeby Fondation.
Let’s start with the Team Rynkeby Fondation, a dear family friend told be about this amazing woman Manni. She was one of the chosen persons to bicycle from the south of Sweden to France for tour de France. They do that to collect money for the childhood cancer organisation. I have no words to be honest. She and the other people that are doing this are really persons to look up to.

Then we have the Charcot Stichting Fondation that are focusing on research for MS. What is MS? A lot of people have probably heard about it but they don’t really know. Multiple sclerosis (MS) means “scar tissue in multiple areas.” It’s a chronic disease that attacks the central nervous system. It affects the brain, spinal cord, and optic nerves. It is two to three times more common that women develop ms than men, and diagnosis usually occurs between the ages of 20 and 40 years. There is no cure, but treatment can relieve symptoms and help the person manage their daily living. The progression of MS is different for each person, so it is hard to predict what will happen. So there’s research is very important.
In Belgium, multiple sclerosis is the most common neurological disease in young adults. One person in 1000 suffers from this condition and there are about 430 new cases per year. Since 1987, the Charcot Foundation has supported scientific research into multiple sclerosis, especially to improve treatments. Progress is considerable, new medicines are being developed and new promising avenues are open to the researchers. = they are awesome.
